- Maintain, inspect, repair, and test HGV vehicles and plant equipment to DfT and VOSA standards
- Prepare and present vehicles for MOT inspections
- Perform regular safety inspections and fault diagnosis (hydraulic, pneumatic & electrical systems)
- Carry out welding, fabrication, and body repairs
- Fit and remove ancillary equipment, accessories, and livery
- Prepare and decommission vehicles as required
- Complete all paperwork accurately and update workshop systems
- Ensure all Health & Safety procedures are followed
- Keep work areas clean, safe, and organised
- Attend relevant training courses as required
- Carry out any additional duties relevant to the role
- Relevant mechanical qualifications and experience
- Strong problem-solving and practical skills
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Good communication skills and attention to detail
- Reliable, punctual, and committed to high standards of customer care
- Knowledge of workshop Health & Safety standards
- Mon-Friday (Flexi hours)
- Up to £21ph DOE
