A well-established manufacturer in the automotive and construction sectors is seeking a hands-on Quality Engineer.
The role involves maintaining and developing ISO9001 QMS, supporting new product introductions, and leading a team.
Candidates should have experience in a quality role within manufacturing, with strong knowledge of FMEA, APQP, PPAP, SPC, and MSA.
Customer-facing experience is essential, and familiarity with CMM/Faro Arm is preferred.
The position offers a competitive salary, 23 days of holiday plus bank holidays, and additional benefits.

We’re recruiting on behalf of a well-established manufacturer supplying the automotive and construction sectors. They’re looking for a hands-on, customer-facing Quality Engineer to join their team.

The Role:

Maintain and develop ISO9001 QMS
Support new product introduction and production trials
Lead and supervise a team
Handle customer, supplier, and internal non-conformances
Conduct audits and generate quality documentation (FMEAs, Control Plans, Work Instructions)
Drive improvements and track Cost of Poor Quality (COPQ)

Requirements:

Experince in a quality role within manufacturing
Strong knowledge of FMEA, APQP, PPAP, SPC, MSA
Experience with CMM/Faro Arm (Polyworks a plus)
Able to read technical drawings and lead small teams
Customer-facing experience essential
