Junior Interior Designer - £25,000 - £30,000 – Prescott

 

I am recruiting for a Junior Interior Designer to join a specialist North West based D&B commercial fit out contractor.

You will be expected to deliver office fit outs (Cat A/ CAT B & Shell and Core). Projects will range in value from £50,000 - £3,000,000 and with average job value circa £100,000. You will be expected to shadow an experienced Designer.

My client are looking for a driven and passionate individual to join them on a permanent basis and can offer a clear progression and development path. They have a full order book for the next 20 months and are sourcing this individual due to continued growth.

 

Projects:

  • D&B Fit Out
  • £50,000 - £3,000,000.

 

The ideal candidate will demonstrate:

 

  1. Proficient use of Autodesk AutoCAD (2D) software
  2. Highly Desirable: Google Sketchup, Adobe Photoshop and Indesign
  3. Excellent communication and organisational skills
  4. An ability to prioritise workload and manage deadlines
  5. A flexible attitude and proactive approach to problem-solving
  6. A University degree in Interior Design/Architectural Technology

 

Day to Day role Require:

  1. Collaborating alongside a Senior Designer.
  1. Assist with the overall coordination of the design, including review of other Architects and sub-contractor’s drawings
  2. Assist in the preparation of construction standard information including drawings, specifications, and schedules
  3. Assist with ordering, and scheduling Delivery/Logistics of Furniture.
  4. Assist with Design Presentations, Moodboards and Tender Documentation.
  5. Liaise with suppliers/manufacturers and keeping Documentation/Materials up to date.

 

Interviews are available this week and a start can be organised as soon as it suits both parties.
