JOB TITLE: Payroll Administrator
SALARY: Up to £30,000
HOURS: Full Time - Permanent
STRUCTURE:  Office Based - Hybrid after probation
LOCATION: Chester


A Payroller is urgently required with end to end payroll experience for this UK wide business. This position is office based initially. 

Main Responsibilities:
  • Ensure timely and accurate payroll processing in accordance with established deadlines, collaborating with Managers and Employees as needed.
  • Handle onboarding and offboarding payroll tasks, including processing new hires, leavers, and pay adjustments, while ensuring compliance with contractual obligations and statutory requirements.
  • Maintain accurate payroll records by tracking time, attendance, sickness, absence, and holiday entitlements, and ensure timely distribution of payslips.
  • Perform payroll audits by reviewing exception reports, identifying discrepancies, and making necessary corrections to payroll data.
  • Generate and deliver payroll output reports and manage data interfaces with both internal and external stakeholders, including HMRC, pension providers, finance teams, and third-party vendors.
What You’ll Need:
  • 2+ years’ experience of payroll processing.
  • Experienced with end to end payroll.
  • Outstanding customer service skills with a confident approach to clients.
  • Exceptional time management and organizational skills.
