Tax Semi Senior

We're recruiting on behalf of a respected South West-based accountancy firm that’s looking to expand its personal tax team in Taunton. This is a superb opportunity for a Personal Tax Semi Senior or Senior who’s looking to take the next step and grow their technical and client-facing skills in a supportive, professional environment.

This role offers an excellent platform to gain deeper experience in both tax compliance and advisory work. You’ll manage your own portfolio of personal tax clients and be involved in work ranging from tax returns to planning projects across a variety of tax areas including capital gains tax, inheritance tax, international tax and trusts.

• Manage a portfolio of personal tax clients
• Prepare tax computations and self-assessment tax returns
• Liaise directly with clients to resolve queries and provide support
• Assist senior colleagues on tax planning projects
• Contribute to identifying potential tax planning opportunities

• ATT or CTA part-qualified or qualified
• Minimum of 1-2 years’ experience in a practice environment
• Strong communication and client service skills
• A team player who is also comfortable working independently
• Enthusiasm to learn and grow in a technically skilled team

• £28,000 to £40,000 per annum
• Full time, permanent role
