Commissioning Engineer
Location: Bridgwater, Taunton, Ilminster, Yeovil, Chard, Tiverton, Minehead
Salary: £55,000 – £63,000 & company benefits
We have an exciting new opportunity for a Commissioning Engineer your responsibilities will include commissioning, installation, troubleshooting and servicing of a wide variety of machinery internationally. You will be required to train customers on the machines and be competent in working with the associated equipment including auxiliary PLC control systems, motors, drives and HMI’s.
Key experience and skills required for the Commissioning Engineer:
- A fully time served electrical Engineer.
- Ideally you will hold a HNC or equivalent in Electrical Engineering.
- Excellent communication (both written and verbal) skills.
- Ability to work independently of others with minimal support in a customer facing environment.
- Willing and eligible to work world-wide at short notice.
- Valid passport with right to work in the UK
- Experience with Siemens & Allen Bradley PLC’s would be an advantage.
- Proficiency in debugging techniques and problem-solving methodologies.
- Previous experience in a commissioning role or similar engineering position is an advantage.
- Willing to travel up to 50% of the time and at short notice.
