Commissioning Engineer | From 50,000 + circa 65K OTE | Taunton
Our client is a leading engineering and manufacturing company that supplies specialised equipment to the converting and print industries worldwide.
They are looking for a skilled and detail-oriented Commissioning Engineer to join their dynamic team. In this role, you will be responsible for the commissioning, installation, troubleshooting, and servicing of a wide range of converting machinery at international customer sites.
You will also be expected to train customers on the operation and maintenance of the equipment. A strong understanding of associated systems, including auxiliary PLC control systems, motors, drives, and HMIs, is essential.
Key Skills and Experience:
- Fully qualified Electrical Engineer, ideally time-served through an apprenticeship or equivalent route.
- HNC or equivalent qualification in Electrical Engineering is preferred.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Proven ability to work independently with minimal supervision in a customer-facing environment.
- Willing and able to travel internationally at short notice.
