Are you an Electrical Engineer with a passion for travel, hands-on problem-solving, and working on complex machinery while delivering high-quality service to clients around the world?


The company is a leading engineering and manufacturing firm based in Taunton, specialising in designing and supplying advanced machinery and equipment for the converting and printing industries worldwide. They provide innovative solutions that help businesses efficiently process and transform materials for various applications.

In this varied role, you'll be commissioning and troubleshooting a wide range of converting machines both on-site and at customer facilities nationally and internationally. You'll work with motors, drives, HMI interfaces, and PLC-controlled systems (including Siemens and Allen Bradley), providing expert support and training to their clients.


This is a great opportunity for a time-served Electrical Engineer looking for a new challenge with travel, autonomy, and technical variety in a forward-thinking company.

The Role:

  • Commission, install, and service a range of converting machinery at customer sites worldwide
  • Provide technical support, troubleshooting, and hands-on fixes across electrical and control systems
  • Work with motors, drives, PLCs (Siemens and Allen Bradley), and HMIs
  • Deliver training to customers on the safe and efficient use of machinery
  • Perform diagnostics and apply debugging techniques to resolve issues
  • 50% based on site (Taunton) and 50% travel nationally/international
  • Monday to Thursday, 08 -16:30, Friday, 08:00 - 13:00
  • Overtime rate of 1.5 x on Friday and 1.3 x any other day

The Person:

  • Fully time-served Electrical Engineer
  • Valid UK passport and driving licence
  • Eligible to work in the UK (no sponsorship available)
  • Experience with Siemens and Allen Bradley PLCs
