KM Recruitment is seeking a Residential Childcare Assessor for a home/field-based role with flexibility for travel across Bristol and surrounding areas.
The position offers a salary of £30,000 for a 4-day workweek, along with an excellent benefits package including pension and expenses.
Candidates must have experience delivering Level 5 Apprenticeships in Residential Childcare, along with a recognized Assessor award and management-level competency in the field.
The role requires strong ICT skills and the ability to support learners with Functional Skills in Maths and English, as well as conducting both remote and face-to-face assessments.
A full, clean driving license and willingness to travel are essential, with the expectation of managing a diary efficiently to ensure timely learner support and assessments.

Experience of delivering Apprenticeships in Residential Childcare at Level 5 (Children, Young People and Families Manager).
Hold occupational competency in Residential Childcare at Management level.
Hold a recognised Assessor award: D32/33, A1, CAVA or TAQA.
Must have a good level of ICT skills
Confident to support learners with Maths and English Functional Skills if required.
Happy to conduct online remote assessments - and face to face when required
Full, clean driving licence and use of a vehicle.
Must be flexible with travel.

Duties include:

Assess and support learners working towards Apprenticeships in Residential Childcare at Level 5 (Children, Young People and Families Manager), including Functional Skills Maths and English to level 2.
Managing your diary efficiently to ensure timely visits and reviews are conducted.
Organise and maintain documentation on learners' progress.
Support, advise and motivate learners.
Overcome barriers to learning and adapt delivery to meet learner’s needs.
Meet Assessor KPI’s in terms of timely visits, quality paperwork and general administration.
