We’re looking for a Head of Civil Engineering or Associate Civil Engineer to lead and grow our team. What you’ll be doing

As a key part of our Leadership Team, you’ll guide and develop a growing team while remaining hands-on with a variety of innovative projects. From concept to completion, you’ll lead the design and implementation of:

Sewage and surface water drainage systems (including SuDS)

Trade effluent solutions

Pumped and gravity networks

Water quality enhancements

Mains connections

You’ll be at the forefront, managing projects from feasibility to delivery, solving complex challenges, and making a real difference in the built environment. Collaboration is key—you’ll work closely with engineers, clients, and stakeholders to deliver high-impact solutions.

Your impact

Lead, grow, and mentor a high-performing engineering team.

Scope, design, and deliver innovative water infrastructure projects.

Navigate technical and regulatory approvals (Environmental Permits, S102, S104, S106, S278, S38, etc.).

Drive technical excellence, ensuring projects meet the highest engineering and safety standards.

Build lasting client relationships, delivering solutions that exceed expectations.

What you bring

Degree in Civil Engineering with experience in Infrastructure / Drainage / Flood / SuDS / Water.

Strong knowledge of SuDS, wastewater networks, pumping stations, or wastewater treatment.

Proven experience leading teams and managing projects from start to finish.

Ability to scope projects, set budgets and timelines, and create buildable solutions.

Solid expertise in detailed drawings, schematics, reports, and technical documentation.

Strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.
