Your new roleAs a Planned Works Contract Manager, you'll take the lead in managing the delivery of complex planned works programmes, with a specific focus on roofing and external works within a residential setting. This means that you will be responsible for overall contractor performance, ensuring compliance with contractual obligations, and driving quality and value across all projects. Your role will involve close collaboration with internal teams, residents, and external partners to ensure work is delivered safely, efficiently, and to a high standard. What you'll need to succeed

  • Proven experience in contract management within a planned maintenance or construction environment.
  • Strong knowledge of roofing systems and external building components in residential properties.
  • Excellent negotiation, communication, and stakeholder management skills.
  • A track record in managing contractors and ensuring compliance with health and safety, quality, and budgetary requirements.
  • Ability to manage risk.

What you'll get in returnIn return, you will receive an initial fixed-term contract with a duration of up to 12 months. However, there is a very high possibility of either extending beyond this point, or transferring into a permanent position. You will receive a salary of £45,000 alongside a wide range of benefits to include generous annual leave contributions, flexible and hybrid working, and access to a contributory pension scheme.
