- Hourly Rate: £13.00 per hour
- Working hours: 8am-5pm / Monday - Friday (Must be flexible depending on weather and condition of crops)
HRGO Recruitment are recruiting multiple hardworking and motivated Harvest Operatives to support our clients during the busy harvest season. This is a fantastic opportunity to work outdoors, contribute to local agriculture, and be part of a friendly, family-run farm team.
The successful candidate must have a driver's licence for access to various crop fields around Taunton, Chard and Ilminster.
General Duties
- Operate and maintain harvesting machinery, ensuring safe and efficient function.
- Follow all health and safety guidelines and procedures while working on-site.
- Always wear appropriate protective equipment (PPE) during harvesting activities.
- Maintain a clean and organised work environment both in the field and in storage areas.
- Work closely with other team members to coordinate harvesting operations.
Role requirements:
- Ability to perform physically demanding tasks, including lifting, carrying, bending, and standing for extended periods.
- Candidates need to be flexible with working hours due to the weather changes and health of crops.
- All candidates must have a driver's licence to access the fields
- Previous experience working on a farm or similar environment would be beneficial
