Responsibilities:

  • Provide expert legal advice and support in all residential property matters, including sales, purchases, transfers, and leases.
  • Draught and review legal documents, such as contracts, agreements, and deeds.
  • Conduct due diligence and property searches to ensure compliance with regulations and identify any potential issues.
  • Manage a caseload of residential property transactions, ensuring efficient and timely completion.
  • Represent clients in negotiations and legal proceedings, if required.
  • Stay up to date with changes in property law and regulations, and ensure compliance with industry standards and guidelines.
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with clients, estate agents, mortgage lenders, and other stakeholders.

Requirements:

  • Qualified solicitor with a minimum of 3 years' experience in residential property law.
  • Strong knowledge of property law and procedures, including Land Registry requirements and relevant regulations.
  • Excellent communication and negotiation skills, with the ability to explain complex legal matters clearly to clients.
  • Exceptional attention to detail and analytical thinking.
  • Proven ability to manage a caseload and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
  • Experience using case management systems and other relevant software.
