We are recruiting for a compliance specialist to lead on property compliance. Including the following areas-

  • Fire Safety Compliance:

    • Oversee and monitor fire risk assessments, ensuring timely completion and remedial action tracking.

    • Liaise with contractors and internal teams to ensure fire safety systems (alarms, extinguishers, emergency lighting) are maintained in line with statutory requirements.

    • Stay up to date with relevant legislation, including the Fire Safety Act and Building Safety Act.

  • Cyclical Electrics:

    • Manage the periodic inspection and testing of electrical installations (EICRs), ensuring full certification and compliance.

    • Review electrical reports, prioritise actions, and work with maintenance teams to resolve issues.

  • LOLER Compliance:

    • Coordinate inspections and servicing of lifting equipment, including stair lifts, hoists, and passenger lifts.

    • Maintain accurate records and ensure defects are rectified within required time frames.

    • Work with lift service providers to ensure contracts meet LOLER requirements.

  • Develop and maintain robust compliance reporting systems.

  • Support audits, both internal and external, ensuring full transparency and accuracy of compliance data.

  • Provide expert advice to colleagues and stakeholders regarding safety obligations and best practices.

This is a hybrid role and offers excellent working conditions and the potential of a long-term contract.
