Our leading client, a law firm in Somerset is seeking an experienced Trusts Advisor to join its growing Private Client team. Whether you’re a qualified Solicitor, Chartered Legal Executive, or a non-qualified fee earner, if you’ve got solid experience in Trusts law, this role offers excellent work, flexibility and progression.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Manage your own caseload of Trusts matters, with appropriate support
  • Advise trustees, beneficiaries, and clients setting up new Trusts
  • Draft, administer, and wind-up Trusts
  • Provide tax planning advice to trustees, including preparing tax returns and trust accounts
  • Advise on compliance with HMRC Trust Registration Service (TRS) and other regulatory matters

What We’re Looking For:

  • A Solicitor, Legal Executive, or experienced Trusts Advisor with:
    • Minimum 1 year of experience in Trusts work
    • OR a background in Private Client law and a genuine interest in specialising in Trusts
  • A solid understanding of UK Trust law and the practical aspects of trust administration 
  • Strong attention to detail and a client-focused approach
