Salary: up to £38,000 DOE Overtime (approx. 1 in 5 weeks)
Hours: Monday to Friday, 8am–5pm

The Role
As a Service Engineer, you’ll work independently across the South West and beyond, maintaining and commissioning systems that keep communities running safely. You’ll be hands-on, client-facing, and trusted to get the job done right.
Your responsibilities will include:
- Communicating clearly and professionally with clients
- Installing, maintaining, and fault-finding on treatment systems
- Diagnosing issues and recommending solutions
- Collaborating with engineers and internal teams
- Conducting system checks, smoke testing, and sampling
- Completing documentation to a high standard
- Travelling to customer sites (some overnight stays required)
Systems include: pumping stations, sewage treatment plants, septic tanks, potable water systems, rainwater harvesting units, and more.
? What We’re Looking For
Essential:
- Experience in a similar Service Engineer role (water, mechanical, or electrical)
- Full UK driving licence
- Strong communicator with a customer-first mindset
- Confident working independently and solving problems on the spot
- Organised and able to manage your own workload
- Willing to learn new areas like wastewater treatment
Desirable:
- Experience in sewage, wastewater, or water treatment
- Basic electrical knowledge
- CSCS card or confined space ticket
