Process Engineering Technician - Role:

The process engineering technician will support all aspects of process engineering, developing expertise in both product manufacture, and processes used, within the business.

Process Engineering Technician - Responsibilities:

- Provide support for the process engineers with their job functions

- Perform testing of products and machinery for new introduction and as part of process performance investigations

- Develop expertise on both product and processes used in Amphenol to support production output

- Support process engineering in scrap reduction

- Support in process / product failure investigations

- Support new product and process introduction

- Become experienced with new plant and teach operators how to use it

- Help to resolve production / process issues

- Support with cost saving initiatives

Process Engineering Technician - You:

- Secondary education qualification in relevant technical discipline desirable

- Good English (written and verbal)

- Good mathematical skills

- Experience in a technical role within a manufacturing industry (electrical/electronic or automation or ceramics desired).

- Strong experience in assembly and manufacturing techniques with a good attention to detail

- Effective at organising and prioritising a varied and time pressurised workload

- Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Access, PowerPoint)

- Aptitude for mechanical engineering

- Ability to spot patterns in machines operation and outputs

- Good communication skills / self confidence

- Fluent in English
