Chartered Surveyor – Commercial Properties (Industrial/Logistics/Retail Warehousing)

Location: Somerset/UK-wide | Travel Required

Hours: 42.5 Hours Per Week

Salary: £70,000 - £90,000 Per Annum Bonus Car Allowance

We’re looking for an experienced Chartered Surveyor to lead the rollout of new commercial sites across the UK. You’ll manage projects from site identification to operational launch, bringing together strategic vision, commercial insight, and hands-on delivery skills.

Chartered Surveyor - The Role:

  • Identify and secure new sites.
  • Conduct feasibility studies, risk assessments, and due diligence.
  • Oversee planning, statutory approvals, and budget management.
  • Lead procurement, appoint and manage consultants and contractors.
  • Ensure builds are delivered on time, on budget, and to quality standards.
  • Drive sustainability initiatives such as renewable energy projects.
  • Maintain strong relationships with leadership, agents, local authorities, and contractors.

Report regularly on progress, risks, and financial performance.

Chartered Surveyor - What You’ll Need:

  • Chartered Surveyor (MRICS) or equivalent.
  • Strong experience in property development, ideally within industrial/logistics/retail warehousing/self-storage.
  • Proven record in sourcing, acquiring, and delivering developments.
  • Deep understanding of UK planning systems and property law.
  • Strong commercial and financial skills, with multimillion-pound budget management experience.
  • Excellent leadership, negotiation, and communication skills.

Full UK driving licence and willingness to travel extensively.

Desirable: industry network, experience with private equity/investors, sustainability expertise.
