Are you an experienced mechanical engineer looking for a new challenge with a forward-thinking company?
Our client, a market leader in the installation, maintenance, and repair of automated Drive-Through Carwash systems isseeking a professional Field Service Engineer to oversee installation and maintenance in the Teddington and South-West LondonArea.
Key Responsibilities:
- Install, maintain, and repair mechanical systems and equipment on customer sites.
- Diagnose and troubleshoot mechanical faults, providing effective solutions and ensuring minimal downtime.
- Deliver excellent customer service by maintaining a professional and courteous approach with clients.
- Work independently while managing your time and tasks effectively, with occasional collaboration with team members.
- Complete all service reports and paperwork accurately and promptly.
- Report to the regional service manager on progress and updates.
- Develop proficiency with IT systems, especially Microsoft Office products
Key Requirements:
- A background in mechanical engineering or mechanical diagnostic/repairs, either through formal qualification or hands-on experience.
- Self-motivated and able to work independently in various locations.
- Strong customer service skills, with the ability to maintain a polite and professional manner when dealing with clients.
- Flexibility to travel and work on the road as part of the role.
- A full UK driving licence is essential.
