Job Description: MOT Tester / Vehicle Service Technician

They are looking for an experienced MOT Tester / Vehicle Service Technician to join their excellent and friendly team.
The successful candidate will primarily be responsible for carrying out MOT testing in accordance with DVSA regulations, while also assisting with vehicle servicing and repairs as required. You鈥檒l be expected to maintain the highest quality standards, show strong attention to detail, and follow company procedures to ensure all work is completed efficiently and professionally. One of the most important aspects that our client is looking for is a motivated individual who can work independently and as part of a team.
In this role, you will work full-time Mon-Fri, 8am - 5.30pm and benefit from:

Key Responsibilities
路 Carrying out MOT tests in line with DVSA standards
路 Performing routine vehicle maintenance tasks when required
路 Diagnosing and repairing mechanical and electrical issues using diagnostic equipment and technical manuals
路 Conducting thorough vehicle inspections to identify additional repair or maintenance needs
路 Completing all work to the highest industry and manufacturer standards
路 Adhering to all safety protocols to maintain a safe working environment
Requirements:
路 Valid MOT Tester Licence (essential)
路 Vehicle Technician Skills and Qualifications
路 NVQ Level 3 in Vehicle Maintenance and Repair
路 Previous experience in the automotive industry
路 Strong diagnostic capability
路 Own tools (essential)
路 Full clean UK Driving Licence (essential)
