Are you passionate about physical education and dedicated to shaping the next generation of athletes and healthy individuals? We are currently seeking a dynamic and motivated PE Teacher to join our teamin the vibrant community of Teignmouth.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and deliver engaging PE lessons that promote physical activity, skill development, and sportsmanship.
- Plan and organize a diverse range of activities to cater to students' varying interests and abilities.
- Foster a positive and inclusive learning environment where all students feel motivated and supported to participate.
- Assess student progress regularly and provide constructive feedback to support their growth and development.
- Collaborate with colleagues to coordinate school sports events, tournaments, and extracurricular activities.
- Maintain accurate records of student attendance, achievements, and behavior.
Requirements:
- Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent certification in Physical Education.
- Strong knowledge of sports and physical fitness principles, with the ability to teach a variety of activities and sports.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to effectively engage with students, colleagues, and parents.
- A passion for promoting health and wellbeing among young people.
- Previous experience working with children and teenagers in an educational setting is desirable.
