Structural Engineer Job Overview

You will be part of a dynamic and experienced team, contributing to a variety of exciting projects across the UK and internationally. This role is ideal for someone with a structural engineering degree who is motivated to progress toward chartership and keen to work on real-world solutions from day one.

In this role you will:

  • Support the delivery of structural engineering designs from concept through to construction.
  • Translate architectural intent into structural reality using modern analysis tools and software (e.g., Tekla, Revit).
  • Undertake structural calculations, modelling and detailing for timber, concrete, steel, and masonry structures.
  • Attend client meetings, site visits, and coordination reviews as required.
  • Liaise with contractors and internal teams to ensure quality and constructability of solutions.
  • Contribute to sustainable and retrofit design strategies.


Structural Engineer Job Requirements

  • BEng/MEng in Civil or Structural Engineering.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Proficient in structural design software (e.g., Tekla, Revit, AutoCAD, or similar).
  • Excellent communication and teamwork.
  • Enthusiasm for innovative design and a proactive approach to learning.
  • Driving licence preferred (but not essential).
