MACHINE OPERATOR NEEDED IN TELFORD, SHROPSHIRE!!

We are looking for a Machine Operator to join a well established business in Telford, this job is working day shifts Monday to Friday (45 hours per week) and the starting rate of pay will be between £12.50 - £13.00 per hour (DOE).

Previous experience working with wood or timber would be preferred, but this is not essential.

The role can be physically demanding and we are looking for someone who is prepared to get stuck in and help within other areas of the business as or when required.

What You Will Do:

  • Operate and set wood routing CNC machines with precision and efficiency.
  • Load raw materials and ensure machines are prepared for smooth operation.
  • Inspect and measure parts post-production to ensure quality standards are met.
  • Work from and interpret technical drawings with accuracy.
  • Maintain detailed records and perform routine maintenance on the machinery.
  • Adhere to health and safety regulations while completing all supporting paperwork.

What You Will Bring:

  • Proven experience operating a Machine within a manufacturing environment
  • Previous work experience within a busy workshop environment.
  • Ability to read and understand technical drawings.
  • A keen eye for detail and a commitment to producing high-quality work.
