Are you a skilled R&D Chemist that's looking to challenge yourself? We're working with a leading manufacturer of construction related chemical products who are looking for someone to come in and join their innovative R&D team. If you have a passion for leadership and seeing your work translated into real world applications, this is the job for you.
What You'll Be Doing
The roles primary focus will be on researching new and maintaining current formulations, overseeing the supply of raw materials and maintaining quality as they come in and collaborating with materials suppliers to find alternative raw materials. You will also be expected to provide support and technical advice to both the production and quality control teams.
What You'll Bring
Essential
*
Educated to a BSc or higher in Polymer Science, Chemistry, Chemical Engineering or a relevant field.
*
Previous experience working in a formulations R&D laboratory with Mortars, Renders, Concrete, Aggregates or other

cementitious materials.






*
Strong technical ability and an understanding of how to interpret and present complex data.
*
Familiarity with Health, Safety, Environmental and Quality standards in laboratory and industrial settings
Desirable
*
Experience adjusting formulations to client specifications.
