We seek the brightest and the best. Based in our Telford Head office, this is an excellent opportunity for an intelligent, analytical, hardworking, well-organised, and self-driven individual with strong negotiation skills and commercial awareness.

Can you:

Provide recommendations for category development & range innovation with the support of market and competitor trends.

Understand the customer journey: customer insight, through to communicating product benefits and reasons to believe, identifying opportunities based on key reason/s for purchase

Delivering and optimising the retail category driving revenue performance, increasing profitability and reducing cost of goods sold.

Source and meet suitable suppliers/manufacturers, including attending UK and international trade shows to drive innovation

Developing strong existing and building new supplier relationships

Collaborating with the global procurement team on new product development and leveraging group supplier agreements.

Negotiate prices, payment terms, vendor trading terms as well as other aspects of supplier account management.

Manage the product selection process, critical path, and effective communication with the merchandising team to ensure products and categories are optimally presented on our website.


You need:

The ability to understand the needs of our customers

A commercial eye to identify gaps in the range and identify new market opportunities

Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with confidence in presenting at all levels

The ability to analyse data and make quick commercial decisions based on information available

To be a confident negotiator and able to develop professional relationships
