Immediate Start: Senior Site Engineer - RC Frame Project

Are you an experienced Senior Site Engineer looking for an exciting opportunity to take ownership of your own modular block on a fast-paced RC frame project? If so, we want to hear from you!

Our client, a leading construction contractor, requires a proactive and skilled Senior Site Engineer to join their team in Coventry with an immediate start for a 13-week contract.

The Role:

As Senior Site Engineer for your designated modular block, you will be responsible for ensuring the accurate and efficient delivery of the project. Key responsibilities will include:

  • Setting Out: Precise setting out of all elements related to your modular block.
  • Drainage Take-Offs: Accurate measurement and reporting of drainage quantities.
  • Quality Control: Ensuring works are completed to the highest standards and in accordance with specifications.
  • Liaison: Effectively communicating with the site management team, subcontractors, and other stakeholders.
  • Record Keeping: Maintaining accurate site records and documentation.
  • Software Utilisation: Proficiently using Fieldview or another equivalent site management software for tasks such as snagging, progress tracking, and quality checks.

What You'll Need:

  • Proven experience as a Senior Site Engineer on RC frame projects.
  • Strong experience managing your own section or block of works.
  • Excellent setting out skills with a good understanding of surveying equipment.
  • Ability to accurately perform drainage take-offs.
  • Proficiency in using Fieldview or similar site management software (e.g., Viewpoint, Procore, BIM 360).
  • Excellent communication and organizational skills.
  • Ability to work independently and proactively.
  • Relevant qualifications (e.g., Degree or HNC/HND in Civil Engineering or equivalent).
  • Valid CSCS card.
