Your new company

Our client, a Tier 2 design and build contractor based in Telford, is seeking a Project Manager to join their team. This established contractor operates nationally within the water industry and has a strong pipeline of work with multiple high-profile water providers and Tier 1 contractors, delivering works up to £1.5m in value. They also operate on major infrastructure projects, including the likes of HS2, and offer excellent opportunities for career progression and professional development. This is a full-time permanent position based out of their Telford office.Your new role

As Project Manager, your responsibilities will include:

  • Overseeing all aspects of project delivery from inception through to completion and handover
  • Creating and maintaining project programmes as well as producing forecasts and procurement schedules
  • Monitoring and reviewing financial and delivery performance
  • Coordinating with subcontractors and the client regarding health and safety inspections and audits
  • Liaising with delivery teams and coordinating site activities to ensure project programmes are maintained
  • Ensuring projects are completed on time, within budget and to specified quality.

What you'll need to succeed

In order to be successful, you must have:

  • Proven successful experience overseeing the delivery of water (clean and/or waste) infrastructure works from inception through to completion
  • Understanding of NEC contracts, CDM regulations and health and safety
  • Sound leadership and interpersonal skills
  • Full UK driving licence.
