We currently have a requirement for an experienced goods-out operative to join a growing fabrication company in Telford. For this role you will be working a static day shift and there is overtime available.
Responsibilities of goods-out operative:
Prepare and package finished products for dispatch.
Pick and load orders based on delivery schedules and customer requirements.
Use a counterbalance to safely handle large and heavy goods.
Complete dispatch paperwork.
Wrap pallets and steel banding.
Experience required for this role:
Experience in a dispatch role - steel or heavy good industry is essential.
Counterbalance forklift license is essential.
Strong attention to details and good organisational skills.
Ability to follow dispatch procedures and work to tight schedules.
Ability to understand paperwork and IT systems.
