Proactive Personnel are recruiting for a Senior Customer Service Administrator to join our clients’ team in Telford, Shropshire.
Our client is a global leader in their field, responsible for the designing, manufacturing and installations of bespoke manufacturing systems.
Duties and Responsibilities:
- Handle all customer enquiries relating to spares and service, overseeing the entire process from initial contact to dispatch and invoicing
- Create and distribute tailored quotations for recommended system spare parts
- Proactively follow up on quotations to convert them into confirmed sales orders
- Coordinate both planned and reactive service visits and equipment installations worldwide, ensuring clear and timely communication with customers
- Making sure materials are available
- Arranging travel when required
- Completion and documentation of service reports
- Manage and prioritise incoming service requests to optimise efficiency and customer satisfaction
- Maintain well-organised and accurate customer records in both digital systems and physical files
- Prepare regular performance reports, including:
- Quotations issued vs. orders received
- Outstanding service jobs
- Engineer availability and usage
- Sales figures for spares and services (contracted and non-contracted)
What you will need to succeed:
- 2+ years working in a busy customer service administration position
- Advanced written and verbal communication skills
- Previous experience working in a fast paced manufacturing environment
- Good working knowledge of MS Outlook, Excel and SAP
- Attention to detail and accuracy
- Advanced organisation skills
- Self-driven for continued learning and development
Salary: £28,000 per annum DOE
