Proactive Personnel are recruiting for a Senior Customer Service Administrator to join our clients’ team in Telford, Shropshire.

Our client is a global leader in their field, responsible for the designing, manufacturing and installations of bespoke manufacturing systems.

Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Handle all customer enquiries relating to spares and service, overseeing the entire process from initial contact to dispatch and invoicing
  • Create and distribute tailored quotations for recommended system spare parts
  • Proactively follow up on quotations to convert them into confirmed sales orders
  • Coordinate both planned and reactive service visits and equipment installations worldwide, ensuring clear and timely communication with customers
  • Making sure materials are available
  • Arranging travel when required
  • Completion and documentation of service reports
  • Manage and prioritise incoming service requests to optimise efficiency and customer satisfaction
  • Maintain well-organised and accurate customer records in both digital systems and physical files
  • Prepare regular performance reports, including:
    • Quotations issued vs. orders received
    • Outstanding service jobs
    • Engineer availability and usage
    • Sales figures for spares and services (contracted and non-contracted)

What you will need to succeed:

  • 2+ years working in a busy customer service administration position
  • Advanced written and verbal communication skills
  • Previous experience working in a fast paced manufacturing environment
  • Good working knowledge of MS Outlook, Excel and SAP
  • Attention to detail and accuracy
  • Advanced organisation skills
  • Self-driven for continued learning and development

Salary: £28,000 per annum DOE
