Ignition Driver Recruitment are looking for Class 1 Drivers in Telford to work with our client, whoprovides road based freight transport services.
The role is based in Telford, but would be suitable for someone coming from Wroxeter, Minsterley, Newport, Shrewsburyand other surrounding areas.

Hours: Full-time hours (06:00 - 10:00 shift starts, workingMonday to Friday - shifts average 10 hours)
Roles & Responsibilities:
- Curtainsider Class 1 work
- 2-3 deliveries/collections per shift
- Delivering palletised goods
- No handballing required
- Will need to pull back the curtain side and strap the load
- Vehicle and load checks required
Working Hours:

As a professional Driver, you will be up to date with the WTD regulations and be able to monitor and keep your working hours accordingly.
About you:
You will have your Class 1 Driving Licence and at least 2 years experience driving commercially. You must also have your UK DCPC card and a valid Digi-tacho card.
Our client may accept up to 6 points on your licence, but we can not accept DD, TT, DR, CD, IN endorsements.
This role is suitable for someone with2 years previous experience that includes: Class 1 Driver, Articulated Lorry Driver, Truck Driving, Driver, Driving, HGV Work, HGV Driving, C+E Driver, Delivery Driver, Driving, Curtainside, Strapping etc
You will be a UK resident and will be able to travel to and from the site for your shift. We are unable to assist with VISA applications and cannot assist with relocation.
