Your new companyYou will be joining a contractor based in Shropshire operating in the water industry. This established company has a strong pipeline of work with multiple high-profile water authorities and Tier 1 contractors across the UK and offers excellent opportunities for career progression and professional development. Due to continued success, they are looking to onboard a Project Manager to join their delivery team.

This is a full-time permanent position based in their Shropshire office.

Your new roleAs Project Manager, your responsibilities will include:

  • Overseeing all aspects of project delivery from inception through to completion and handover
  • Creating and maintaining project programmes as well as producing forecasts and procurement schedules
  • Monitoring and reviewing financial and delivery performance
  • Coordinating with subcontractors and the client regarding health and safety inspections and audits
  • Liaising with delivery teams and coordinating site activities to ensure project programmes are maintained
  • Ensuring projects are completed on time, within budget and to specified quality.

What you'll need to succeedIn order to be successful, you must have:

  • Proven successful experience overseeing the delivery of water (clean and/or waste) infrastructure works from inception through to completion
  • Understanding of NEC contracts, CDM regulations and health and safety
  • Sound leadership and interpersonal skills
  • Full UK driving licence.
