Graphic Designer

Location: Telford (Occasional travel to other sites may be required)

Salary: Dependent on experience

Established in 1928, our client has nearly 100 years of expertise in providing high-quality fabricated metal products. Operating from two manufacturing plants in Wolverhampton and West Bromwich, they employ around 180 people and continue to invest in state-of-the-art facilities, including robotic welding, laser cutting, and CAD/CAM technology.

Their four divisions specialise in:

  • Access Metalwork: Staircases, platforms, handrails, and architectural metalwork in mild steel, stainless steel, and GRP.
  • Fensecure: Steel fencing and gates for residential, sports, and heritage applications.
  • Brickhouse: Access covers, frames, and high-security products for water, power, rail, and more.
  • Protect: Turnkey security solutions including kiosks, doors, grilles, and access systems accredited to LPS 1175 standards.

The Role

They are seeking a talented and versatile Graphic Designer to join a leading company in the Steel manufacturing industry, you will work with the Marketing team to help them elevate their visual identity across all brand touch points.

The role would suit someone looking to develop their experience in Graphic Design. They would consider a graduate, or candidates who are early on in their career.

Responsibilities

  • Assisting in the design and production of high-quality Brochures, Literature, Signage, Branding Projects and large-format graphics.
  • Creating visually striking concepts for a range of businesses within the Steel industry
  • Preparing artwork for print and social media, ensuring all designs meet brand guidelines and client expectations.
  • Collaborating with the wider team to develop creative solutions that stand out.
  • Keeping up to date with industry trends and new design techniques.

Skills and Qualifications

They are looking for a creative Graphic Designer with a passion for content creation. You'll play a key part in driving the company's presence forward, with a strong focus on Graphics, content creation, illustrations, and design aesthetics. If you have an eye for detail, a knack for optimising online platforms, and a flair for delivering impactful marketing campaigns, they want to hear from you!

Requirements

  • Ideally 2+ Years experience (not essential)
  • Proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite (Photoshop, Illustrator, Premiere Pro, After Effects).
  • Strong video editing and motion graphics abilities is desirable but not essential
  • Excellent visual storytelling and branding skills.
  • Attention to detail and design accuracy.
  • Strong project management and time management skills.
  • Ability to collaborate with cross-functional teams.
  • Up-to-date knowledge of design trends and best practices.
  • Drivers Licence, as travel between sites will be required.
