ABC Teachers are seeking to recruit a Key Stage 2 Teaching Assistant to support a Year 5/6 class in a welcoming primary school in Telford. This role will cover the entire second half of the Autumn Term 2025, providing consistent classroom support and contributing to a positive learning environment.
The Role
This role will include:
- Full-time, long-term cover in line with school hours (08:30–15:30).
- Supporting the class teacher to ensure lessons run smoothly and pupils remain engaged and supported.
- Providing individual or small group support as directed by the teacher.
- Commencing at the start of the second half of the Autumn Term 2025 and continuing until the end of term.

Requirements
To be considered for the KS2 Teaching Assistant (Year 5/6) position, you will:
- Demonstrate an enthusiastic and collaborative approach to supporting pupils and colleagues.
- Have verifiable experience working in a childcare or educational setting, ideally within Key Stage 2.
- Hold a minimum of a Level 2 or Level 3 childcare-related qualification.
- Be able to commit to school hours (08:30–15:30).
- Be able to provide references from relevant roles within the last two years.
- Hold or be willing to obtain a DBS registered on the online update service.
