I am currently recruiting to support a innovative specialist primary setting that supports pupils with a range of additional needs, including ASD, ADHD, MLD, and SEMH. This is a highly rewarding role where you will play a key part in helping young learners overcome barriers and achieve their full potential.

About the Role:
As a Teaching Assistant within this specialist setting, you will:
- Work closely with pupils who require tailored support due to additional learning needs and challenging behaviours
- Help create a safe, positive, and inclusive learning environment
- Support the class teacher with planning, delivering, and adapting learning activities
- Use de-escalation techniques and behaviour management strategies to support pupil engagement
- Build strong, trusting relationships with pupils to encourage progress and boost confidence

About You:
We are looking for candidates who are:
- Calm, reliable, and able to think on their feet
- Passionate about supporting children with diverse needs
- Confident in building rapport and managing challenging behaviour
- Understanding and empathetic, with a pupil-centred approach
- Experienced in SEN (desirable), though candidates with the right attitude and transferable skills will also be considered
