The Role:
As a Teaching Assistant, your role will include:
Supporting the teacher with lesson delivery and helping children with their learning
Working with individuals and small groups to support their progress, including children with Special Educational Needs (SEN)
Preparing classroom materials, resources, and displays
Helping to monitor and track pupils' development, providing feedback to the class teacher
Promoting a positive, inclusive, and engaging learning environment
Supporting pupils with social and emotional development as needed
Assisting with general classroom management and ensuring a safe and supportive environment
What We're Looking For:
Level 2 or Level 3 Teaching Assistant qualification (or equivalent)
Experience working as a Teaching Assistant in a primary school setting
A patient, caring, and enthusiastic approach to working with children
Strong communication skills and the ability to work well as part of a team
The ability to adapt to the needs of individual children and support their learning effectively
Experience working with children with Special Educational Needs (SEN) is desirable, but not essential
A passion for helping children succeed and achieve their best
