Behaviour Management Support – KS3 & KS4
Full-Time | Ongoing | Start: January

TARA Recruitment is working in partnership with a large secondary school to recruit a dedicated Behaviour Management Support professional to work across Key Stages 3 and 4. This is a full-time, ongoing position, starting in January, ideal for someone passionate about supporting young people to succeed both academically and socially.

The Role:
As a Behaviour Management Support professional, you will play a key role in promoting positive behaviour and supporting students who may face social, emotional, or behavioural challenges. You will work closely with teaching staff, pastoral teams, and senior leaders to ensure a calm, safe, and inclusive learning environment.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Supporting students across KS3 and KS4 with behaviour and engagement in lessons

  • Implementing behaviour strategies in line with the school’s policies

  • Providing targeted support to pupils who require additional guidance

  • Managing behaviour during lessons, transitions, and unstructured times

  • Building positive relationships with students to encourage engagement and progress

  • Working collaboratively with staff to promote consistency and high expectations

The Ideal Candidate:

  • Has experience working with secondary-aged pupils (KS3/KS4), particularly in behaviour support, pastoral, or SEN roles

  • Is calm, resilient, and confident in managing challenging behaviour

  • Has strong communication and relationship-building skills

  • Is committed to safeguarding and promoting student wellbeing

  • Experience within a school or alternative provision setting is desirable, but not essential
