There are varying levels within the Mechanical Fitting team with options for progression. Once fully trained, Mechanical Fitters will carry out the assembly of all mechanical systems & equipment for large installations in the UK & overseas
Mechanical Fitters- The Person
Hands-on experience of mechanical equipment assembly or machine building
Ability to read and understand engineering drawings
Ability to complete mechanical inspection
Demonstrate a good working knowledge of using various hand tools
Have sound knowledge of manufacturing processes
Self-motivated and able to use initiative in prioritising tasks
Keen to accept responsibility and accountability
Professional manner, able to represent the company to a high standard
Basic tool kit required, supplemented by company tool allowance scheme
