Multiskilled Maintenance Engineer

Salary: Up to £49,500 per annum (Inc Shift Allowance)

Hours: 4 on 4 off - Nights

Are you a Multi-Skilled Maintenance Engineer with a passion for continuous improvement and problem-solving? This is a fantastic opportunity to join a well-established manufacturing business with a strong engineering team and supportive leadership.

We’re looking for a process-driven Maintenance Engineer with both mechanical and electrical experience to ensure production machinery runs safely, efficiently, and reliably.

The Multi-Skilled Maintenance Engineer will be responsible for:

Perform planned and reactive maintenance on production and plant equipment
Accurately log breakdowns and support prioritisation of repairs
Collaborate internally and externally to ensure uptime and availability
Support machinery installations, upgrades, and process improvements
Maintain compliance with Health & Safety, hygiene, and quality standards
Promote 5S, lean practices, and a culture of continuous improvement
Promote 5S, continuous improvement, and a safe working environment

Skills and Experience:

Must have previous experience resolving electrical and mechanical breakdowns on manufacturing / production machinery
Be multi-skilled with experience of working with both Mechanical and Electrical production machinery
Familiarity with preventative maintenance systems and engineering best practices
Be process driven with a continuous improvement mind-set
This role would suit a candidate with previous experience as Maintenance Engineer / Electrical Engineer / Multi-skilled Maintenance Engineer / Maintenance Engineer (Elec bias) / Mechanical Maintenance Engineer / Maintenance Engineer (Mechanical Bias)
