The role

What you'll be doing

  • PPM and Reactive Maintenance on a wide range of bespoke automated and pneumatic-powered machinery & equipment
  • Root-cause analysis (RCA) approach to fault-finding to optimize reliability, efficiency and longevity of machinery, equipment and parts
  • Managing parts stock & ensuring any replacements are ordered in a cost-effective, responsible and auditable manner
  • Mentor and develop junior members of the engineering team

What you'll need

  • Time-served as a multiskilled maintenance engineer
  • The ability to undertake basic electrical fault-finding
  • Solid understanding of pneumatics and hydraulics
  • An NVQ Level 3 (minimum) or equivalent industry-recognized qualification
  • Basic PLC fault-finding (desirable)
  • FMCG background or similar (highly desirable)
  • 17th or 18th Edition (desirable)
  • Supervisory background or experience of mentoring (desirable)

  • Ability to perform in a fast-paced, high production environment
