About the Role
We are seeking an experienced Assistant Site Manager to provide 1 week's cover on a new build timber frame housing site in Telford. You will be supporting site operations, overseeing trades, and ensuring health & safety and quality standards are maintained.

Key Responsibilities

  • Assist in managing day-to-day site activities.
  • Supervise subcontractors and trades to ensure works are completed on time.
  • Maintain site health & safety compliance.
  • Support with quality checks and reporting to the Site Manager.
  • Liaise with the project team and workforce to ensure smooth delivery.

Requirements

  • Previous experience as an Assistant Site Manager on housing projects.
  • Knowledge of timber frame construction desirable.
  • Valid SMSTS and First Aid at Work certificates.
  • Strong communication and organisational skills.
  • Available to start next week for the full duration of the cover.
