Job Title: Assistant Site Manager - New Build Housing
Location: Telford
Start Date: Monday 1st September
Duration: 1 Week Cover
Rate: 250 per day
About the Role
We are seeking an experienced Assistant Site Manager to provide 1 week's cover on a new build timber frame housing site in Telford. You will be supporting site operations, overseeing trades, and ensuring health & safety and quality standards are maintained.
Key Responsibilities
- Assist in managing day-to-day site activities.
- Supervise subcontractors and trades to ensure works are completed on time.
- Maintain site health & safety compliance.
- Support with quality checks and reporting to the Site Manager.
- Liaise with the project team and workforce to ensure smooth delivery.
Requirements
- Previous experience as an Assistant Site Manager on housing projects.
- Knowledge of timber frame construction desirable.
- Valid SMSTS and First Aid at Work certificates.
- Strong communication and organisational skills.
- Available to start next week for the full duration of the cover.
