Marketing Executive

Location: Telford (Requirement to travel to their other offices, Wolverhampton, West Brom, Newcastle)

Salary: Competitive

Established in 1928, our client has nearly 100 years of expertise in providing high-quality fabricated metal products. Operating from four manufacturing plants across the West Midlands and the North, they employ around 180 people and continue to invest in state-of-the-art facilities, including robotic welding, laser cutting, and CAD/CAM technology.

The Role

They are seeking a creative and driven Marketing Executive / Coordinator to join a dynamic team within a leading group of companies within the steel manufacturing industry. In this role, you will support the Marketing department (Head of Marketing & Graphic Designer) in enhancing their brand presence across both digital and print channels, helping to shape the visual and strategic direction of their campaigns.

Responsibilities:

  • Assist in the development and execution of marketing strategies and campaigns across digital, print, and social media platforms
  • Coordinate the creation of marketing materials including brochures, email newsletters, product sheets, and digital ads
  • Manage website content updates and ensure consistent branding and messaging
  • Support the planning and promotion of trade shows, events and other marketing activations
  • Collaborate with design and sales teams to create effective promotional content and customer-facing materials
  • Maintain and grow social media presence across platforms such as LinkedIn, Instagram, and Facebook
  • Track marketing performance metrics and assist with reporting on campaign outcomes and ROI
  • Manage mailing lists and execute email campaigns using tools like Mailchimp
  • Assist with content creation including copywriting, photography coordination and light graphic design
  • Research market trends, competitors, and customer preferences to help inform marketing initiatives
  • Maintain brand guidelines and ensure visual consistency across all external communications
  • Liaise with external vendors and partners as needed for production, printing, or advertising placements

Skills and Qualifications

  • Ideally 2+ Years experience (not essential)
  • Proficient Copywriting skills
  • Excellent storytelling skills.
  • Attention to detail and design accuracy.
  • Strong project management and time management skills.
  • Ability to collaborate with cross-functional teams.
  • Up-to-date knowledge of design trends and best practices.
  • Drivers Licence, as travel between sites will be required.
