SHEET METAL WORKER REQUIRED IN TELFORD, SHROPSHIRE

Do you have previous experience working within a Sheet Metal, Welding or Fabrication environment and are you happy getting your hands dirty and doing a manual job daily?!

We are actively looking for a Sheet Metal Worker to join a very reputable manufacturing business in Telford, Shropshire.

This is working a day shift pattern Monday to Friday (39.5 hours per week), and the role comes with an hourly rate of £13.50 per hour.

We are looking for someone who has used power tools daily, experience working as a Mechanical Assembler, Fabrication Assistant, Workshop Operative, Linisher or Sheet Metal previously would be a good fit for this job.

What You Will Do:

  • Prepare products prior to despatch, ensuring they meet the company's high standards.
  • Assemble, pack, and despatch goods with precision and care.
  • Safely store and identify products before they are shipped.
  • Sign paperwork and manage daily labels to ensure smooth operations.
  • Manufacture materials for production flows, contributing to the company's success.

What You Will Bring:

  • Knowledge of Health and Safety Regulations and good practices.
  • Ability to work methodically, stay organised, and collaborate effectively with a team.
  • Competency with power tools and basic shop floor machinery.
  • A keen eye for detail and a commitment to delivering a high-quality finish.
  • A flexible approach to work, including a willingness to obtain a forklift licence.
  • A Full UK Driving License
