What You Will Do:

- Negotiate purchasing contracts effectively, ensuring value through time, cost, and quality.

- Collaborate with suppliers to provide quarterly forecasts aligned with customer demand.

- Monitor supplier performance, ensuring adherence to agreed standards and taking corrective action when needed.

- Identify and implement cost-saving initiatives without compromising quality or delivery timelines.

- Establish and sustain long-term partnerships with suppliers while driving continuous improvement.

- Act as a key facilitator between internal teams and external suppliers to ensure seamless operations.

What You Will Bring:

- Strong interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to influence and build relationships at all levels.

- Proven experience in a similar role within a manufacturing environment, ideally with SAP experience and a CIPS qualification.

- A successful track record of managing projects and delivering cost-saving initiatives.

- Commercial awareness and a proactive approach to adapting to market conditions.

- A strategic mindset with strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.

In return for your skills/experience the company are offering a salary of £40k per annum.
