The Role

We are seeking a caring, patient and motivated PRU and SEMH specialist to join our dedicated team. The successful candidate will work closely with class teachers to support pupils with a range of additional needs, including autism, speech and language difficulties, social/emotional challenges, and other learning differences. This role will be challening, it will be supporting pupils who have very challenging behaviour.

Key Responsibilities

  • Provide 1:1 or small group support for pupils with special educational needs.

  • Support pupils  develop independence and confidence.

  • Work closeley with teachers, therapists, and parents to ensure consistent support.

  • Promote inclusion and positive behaviour across the school.

About You

  • Experience working with children with special educational needs

  • Understanding of autism, ADHD, SEMH and PRU environments.

  • A patient, empathetic, and enthusiastic approach to supporting learning.

  • Strong communication and teamwork skills.

  • Relevant qualifications or personal experience.
