A welcoming and well-resourced secondary school in Telford is seeking a dedicated Cover Teacher to join their team from September 2025. This is a fantastic opportunity for someone with experience as a Cover Supervisor in UK secondary schools who is confident managing classes across a range of subjects in the absence of the regular teacher.
The Role:-
Full-time position, Monday to Friday during term time

Supervising lessons across Key Stages 3 and 4 using pre-set work

Managing classroom behaviour and ensuring a focused learning environment

Supporting students and following school policies and safeguarding procedures

Previous experience as a Cover Supervisor or Cover Teacher in a UK secondary school is essential

Confident managing classroom behaviour and engaging with secondary-age pupils

Adaptable and reliable, with a professional approach to education support

Strong communication and organisational skills

Hold an enhanced DBS on the update service (or be willing to apply for one)
