Job Overview
The ideal candidate will be responsible for assembling and fitting components in accordance with specifications and drawings as well as van driving. The Fitter will work closely with other team members to ensure that all projects are completed efficiently and to the highest standards.
Duties
- Load and unload panel boards.
- Drive a 3.5t flat bed van to various locations.
- Interpret technical drawings and specifications to determine the assembly requirements to erect the product off site.
- Assemble and fit components using hand tools, power tools, and machinery.
- Conduct quality checks on completed assemblies to ensure they meet required standards.
- Maintain a clean and organised workspace, adhering to health and safety regulations.
Experience
- Proven experience as a Fitter or in a similar role is preferred.
- Familiarity with various fitting techniques and tools is essential.
- Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings and specifications.
- Strong attention to detail and problem-solving skills.
- Previous woodwork experience is essential.
Days, Monday - Friday. The role will involve heavy lifting and early starts.
