1:1 Teaching Assistant

Vision for Education are seeking a dedicated and caring 1:1 Teaching Assistant to join a welcoming Primary School in Tenterden. This is a rewarding role, supporting a child with additional learning needs on a one-to-one basis, helping them to access the curriculum and reach their full potential.
The role will involve supporting the pupil both in class and during small group or individual activities, ensuring they are fully included in all aspects of school life. You will work closely with the class teacher and the school’s SEND team to deliver tailored learning and emotional support.

RequirementsTo be considered for this role, you will need to:

Have experience supporting children in a school setting (ideally in a 1:1 or SEND role).

Be patient, empathetic, and able to build strong relationships with pupils and staff.

Have a positive, proactive attitude and be willing to adapt to the needs of the child.

Hold (or be willing to obtain) a valid DBS on the Update Service.

Have right to work in the UK.
