Nursery, part of Overbury Enterprises, is a purpose-built, independent nursery rooted in forest school principles, farm-to-fork values, and a deep respect for sustainability. We’re searching for a hands-on, inspiring Nursery Manager to lead our close-knit team and nurture the next chapter of this exceptional setting.

Our nursery sits alongside the local village school, with its own kitchen and cook, and offers 34 fully subscribed spaces, with capacity to grow.
�? Your RoleAs Nursery Manager, you will:

Lead and inspire a committed, child-focused team

Ensure the setting remains compliant and continuously improving

Champion nature-based, outdoor learning in everyday practice

Foster strong parent partnerships and community engagement

Integrate farm life, sustainability, and real-world learning into the EYFS curriculum
Essential:
-
Minimum Level 5 in Early Years (Level 3 considered with strong management experience)

Experience as a Nursery Manager or ready-for-the-next-step Deputy

Strong understanding of forest school and outdoor learning approaches

Confident leader with excellent organisational and communication skills

Able to thrive in a rural, community-led setting
Desirable:

Experience in independent/small nursery environments

Knowledge of farm-to-fork, eco-education or sustainability in EYFS
