Do you have experience working within CNC?
I am recruiting on behalf of a well-established and growing engineering company based in Tewkesbury. You will be working on 3 axis machines setting and operating within a great team. This CNC role is ideal for someone who wants to work in a hands-on position without excessive technical complexity.

Set up and operate CNC machines for both new production and tool regrinding

Read and interpret engineering drawings to guide production

Program CNC machines offline to optimise productivity

Monitor machine performance and adjust settings as necessary

Perform routine maintenance checks and complete quality control documentation

Collaborate with the wider team to resolve production issues

Use handheld and digital measuring tools for accurate quality checks

Manual grinding experience is advantageous, but training will be provided

Proven experience operating and programming CNC machines

Strong understanding of engineering drawings and tight tolerances

Excellent attention to detail and a methodical approach to problem-solving

Basic computer literacy and good mathematical skills

A team player willing to work flexible hours and overtime when required
