Our client has been established for more than 30 years and are a global market leader in the provision of highest quality catering infrastructure solutions for supply throughout the world, and as a result of continued success and an ongoing programme of strategic growth for 2024, they are now seeking to recruit an enthusiastic and experienced Catering Equipment Engineer to complement their established and highly successful catering equipment technical support division.

Based in the Gloucestershire (Tewkesbury) region and reporting to the Engineering Manager, the successful Catering Equipment Engineer will perform a range of duties and responsibilities that will include (but not be limited to):

  • Carrying out all necessary and appropriate safety checks to ensure each item of catering equipment, kitchen unit and installation is safe and fit for purpose.
  • Maintaining a good understanding of the operation of all items of catering equipment within the hire fleet and the business criticality of each item.
  • Identifying and resolving technical issues with items of equipment, kitchen units or kitchen installations as required.
  • Complete all associated documentation in a proper and timely manner.
  • Keeping your working area clean and stocked and ready to work.
  • Travelling to site in order to complete repairs and/or commission items of equipment or kitchen installations as required.
  • Assisting and supporting the Technical Support Department as required.

To be considered for this exceptional Catering Equipment Engineer opportunity within a genuine market leading environment, you will essentially hold a full UK driving licence and demonstrate at least 3 years' experience of using Mechanical and Electrical knowledge gained in a commercial environment with excellent communication and customer facing skills.

Your qualifications will include CCCN1 (or CCN1 and COCATA1), COMCAT1, COMCAT3, COMCAT5 and CONGLP1 PD, CENWAT, ICPN1, TPCP1 and TPCP1A with F-gas and C&G 18th Edition and Test and Inspection electrical qualifications proving distinctly advantageous.
